Q. Which one of the followings has maximum number of atoms ?
A ig of \(\mathrm{Ag}(\mathrm{s})[\) Atomic mass of \(\mathrm{Ag}=108]\)
B \(1 \mathrm{~g}\) of \(\mathrm{Mg}(\mathrm{s})[\) Atomic mass of \(\mathrm{Mg}=24]\)
c \(1 \mathrm{~g}\) of \(\mathrm{O}_{2}(g)\) [Atomic mass of \(\mathrm{O}=16\) ]
(D) \(1 \mathrm{~g}\) of \(\operatorname{Li}(s)\) [Atomic mass of \(\mathrm{Li}=7\) ]

Solution:
Number of atoms in \(1 g \circ L i=\frac{1}{7} \times N_{A}\)
$$
=0.86 \times 10^{23}
$$
Number of atoms in \(1 g\) of \(A g=\frac{1}{108} \times N_{A}\)
$$
=0.056 \times 10^{23}
$$
Number of atoms in \(1 g\) of \(M g=\frac{1}{24} \times N_{A}\)
$$
=0.25 \times 10^{23}
$$
Number of atoms in \(1 g\) of \(O_{2}=\frac{1}{32} \times N_{A} \times 2\)
$$
=\frac{N_{A}}{16}=0.37 \times 10^{23}
$$
Maximum number of atoms are present in \(1 g\) of \(L i\).
