The last stage of selection for the post of IBPS Clerk is the IBPS Clerk Main Exam. 5 sections are there in the IBPS Clerk Main Exam with a time limit of 2 hours and 40 mins. and total marks of 200 and 190 total no of ques. The entrants who can achieve the IBPS Clerk Cut Off Marks for the prelims are allowed to sit for the IBPS Clerk Main Exam. And the entrants who have achieved the IBPS Clerk Cut Off Marks for the mains are selected for the post of clerk. Like the prelims, it is also an online exam with obj. ques. containing 5 choices. The same rule applies for the mains exam also that there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. No interview is conducted after the mains exam.

Pre-exam training may be arranged by banks for the SC/ST/Religious Minority Community Entrants at certain centres as per guidelines issued by the Govt. of India. While filling the IBPS CLERK 2021 App. Form the exam centres chosen by the entrants, IBPS allots those centres according to the pref. of the entrants but if it is non-availability of seats in the chosen centre then the IBPS can allot a diff. centre as a 2nd pref. chosen by the entrant, which the entrant cannot complain about.
