To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must be the citizen of India. At the time of registration, candidates have to submit their Nationality proof. If the applicant is a migrated or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan they are also can apply for this examination. But they have also submitted their identity certificate at the registration time.
Union Bank of India conducts its SO recruitment examination online. In the examination, there will be four majors that include Reasoning, General Awareness, Qualitative Aptitude, and English language. The section-wise syllabus is discussed below.

Candidates for this examination have to appear 200 questions of 200 marks for a total duration of 120 minutes. Candidates have remembered that there will be a negative marking for every wrong answer and no marks will be given for un-attempted questions. The exam pattern has been mentioned below.

Candidates can apply for this exam online from the Union Bank of India’s official website. Before applying candidates have to register themselves with their personal number and birth date. After registration, they can apply for this examination. Any candidates could not apply for this examination without registration. During the online application, the candidate has to provide valid information regarding Name, Date of Birth, E-mail ID. Make sure to spell your names, guardian’s name, and other details correctly. No changes will be entertained after the final submission. Candidates are advised to put their personal information carefully.

The Union Bank of India set the selection process in two different stages. The first one is an Online Written Examination/ Group Discussion and the second one is a Personal Interview. In the first round of the recruitment, process candidates have to score the minimum qualifying marks. Those who fail to collect the qualifying marks will not eligible for the second round of the examination. In the second round candidates have to give their personal interview. Candidates have asked about their professional knowledge, academic efficiency, clarity of thought, presentation, communication skills, hobbies, general knowledge, etc. Candidates need to score 25 to clear this stage.
Union Bank of India clearly mentioned that candidates can pay the online application fee using any of these following transaction channels.
Before paying candidates remember some details about the application fees. The payment has to be done by the applicant, these fees are nonrefundable, for credit card users, all the transactions will be in Indian Rupee. In the case of a foreign card, the currency will be converted to the local one.

After the completion of the examination, the results of the shortlisted candidates are published on the official website of the Bank. The Shortlisted candidates must undergo a probation period of 2 years, before finding their permanent place in the Bank.
