Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) has recently released its official notification for the recruitment of RRB PO (Scale I). This exam is conducted to recruit Group ‘A’ officers. It is a good opportunity for the candidates willing to work for rural banks. It is an interesting job as the employees get chances to interact with the common people to make them understand the benefits of credit.
The selection procedure for the post includes the Prelims exam, Mains exam and an interview. The minimum age for the General applicants is 18 years and the maximum age is 30 years. There is an age relaxation offered to reserved categories. The details of the age relaxations offered to certain categories are mentioned below:

The Scale 1 officers of RRB receive a decent amount of salary along with several perks and allowances. The basic pay of RRB PO is Rs.23,700/- per month and the In-hand salary is Rs. 29,000 /- to Rs. 33,000/-. The in-hand salary of the employees varies depending on their posting location. There is a deduction of 10% from the salary of the employees as per the National Pension Scheme. The annual salary of RRB PO is Rs.3,48,000/- to Rs.3,96,000/-.
The employees receive an increment in the salary. The details of the increment are as follows:-
