The Indian Navy will declare the list of the shortlisted candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks and cleared the written exam round. After the declaration of the Result, the selected candidates will be called to appear for the Physical Fitness Tes round. After qualifying in the written exam, the candidates are required to appear for Physical Fitness Test (PFT). The PTT test contains the following stages:

The candidates are required to qualify in the physical test to be eligible to appear for the medical review round.
Medical standards are different for different applications at the entry-level. The military doctors supervise the medical examination as per the prescribed medical standards in the current regulations regarding the admission of Indian Navy AA. If the candidates are found temporarily unfit during induction, then they can appear for the specialist examination from the designated military hospital within 21 days.

The final merit list is prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the Written Exam, PFT, and Medical Test. Candidates have to secure more than or equivalent to the minimum qualifying marks in all the rounds set by the Indian Navy to be considered for the final enrollment.
