RRB JE Eligibility 2021 Updates & Document Needed.

The Railway Recruitment Board will release the notification for RRB JE 2021 soon on the official website. The candidates who wish to appear for the same can check the RRB JE Eligibility 2021 on the official notification. The RRB will accept the RRB Junior Engineer application of those candidates who can qualify all the criteria successfully.

The eligibility is, also, linked with a few important documents that the candidates must have to prove their eligibility. A candidate may qualify for the exam but will not be selected until they provide all the papers needed for the verification process. We would discuss both the factors that the candidate needs to qualify for an RRB JE Vacancy.

RRB JE Eligibility 2021:

RRJ JE Eligibility 2021 is based on four factors;

1. Citizenship.
2. Educational Qualification.
3. Age Criteria.
4. Physical Fitness.

RRB JE Eligibility 2021- Criteria of Citizenship:

Citizenship is the 1st criteria that and candidates must consider before applying for RRB JE. The details of Citizenship are given below:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
• He or She can be a refugee from Tibet, who had come to India before January 1st, 1962, to settle down here forever.
• The candidate can be a person of Indian origin, arrived from East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Burma, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, and Pakistan, to settle down in India forever.
• A candidate can also be a person who was been issued a certificate of eligibility by the govt of India.
• If the candidate is a person who has not yet received the certificate of eligibility by the govt of India, will be allowed to appear for the exam however job will only be made after he or she submits the same.

Now you already know about the very basic eligibility criteria i.e., citizenship. We will not have a look at the next most important criteria that is the educational skill for RRB JE.

We can see the sections and the educational skill needed for them as per the RRB JE Vacancies. However, there with division and subdivisions within each category of openings.
Moving forward we will look into the next important eligibility criteria i.e. the age limit. The age limit for RRB JE ranges from 18 years to 33 years. However, there is age relaxation for other reserved groups of candidates. Let’s have look at the details of age criteria below:

Important Notes about Age Relaxation:

• If a candidate is eligible for age relaxation on more than one ground, he or she would be allowed the max years of the age relaxations for which he or she is eligible.
• Moreover, if SC, ST, OBC- (Non-Creamy Layer) candidate applies against the unreserved vacancy, no age relaxation is allowed to them.
• PwBD candidates who are applying against UR vacancies will be allowed age relaxation as applicable for UR PwBD only.
• Candidates must write the exact date of birth as per their matriculation or SSCL certificate. Later on, RRB will not allow any request to change the date of birth of a candidate.
• Lastly, all candidates claiming the age relaxation should ensure that they are entitled to enjoy the benefit and should make sure they have relevant documents to prove their eligibility. Without the proper documents, there will no benefit allowed to candidates.

That’s all about age limit and relaxations now the next important factor of eligibility is medical fitness. Medical fitness is very important as all the candidates will have to go through a medical fitness test conducted by RRB’s trusted medical boards. If the candidate fails in the medical test they would not be able to secure the jobs even though they have qualified in all the other segments of the RRB JE Exam.

RRB JE Eligibility 2021- Medical Standards:

The medical fitness test is a mandatory process that everybody has to go through after qualifying in document verification. The medical test is done by the railway administration to find out if the candidates are capable of carrying out duties that they have to do if they employed against their applied posts.

• Certificate and mark sheet for 10+2/ Inter/ Higher Secondary/ PUC.

• OBC- NCL certificate issued by Govt of India.
• OBC candidates’ certificate for Non-Creamy Layer Declaration.
• EWS candidates must give their income certificates so that they don’t have to pay the exam fees.
• In case the candidate is an Ex-serviceman, he must provide the Original Leaving Certificate.
• If the candidate is personnel still in active service, he must provide NOC.
• For all kinds of disabilities, the candidate must give a medical certificate.
• If the candidates belong to a minority community, he or she must submit a Minority Community Declaration certificate or Non-Judicial stamp paper.
• Application fee payment slip or challan generated SBI or computerized post office payment slip.
• Govt photo Id card- Adhar Card on both sides photocopy.
• Formal name changes notice (gazette notice or any other legal doc).
• For a Transgender candidate’s self-certification is needed.
• Eligibility Certificate issued by Govt of India.
• Domicile Certificate for a candidate from Jammu and Kashmir.

In conclusion, RRB is very particular about the RRB JE Eligibility 2021 aspects. RRB suggests each candidate make sure that they qualify each eligibility criteria and only then they should apply or else it may lead to unnecessary cancellation of their application. Apparently, the application fees for RRB JE is also not refundable and the application once made cannot be corrected. candidates are careful while filling the application.
