The State Bank of India has released the SBI Clerk notification 2021 for a total of 5500 vacancies pan India. The application process has commenced from April 26, 2021, till May 20, 2021. The candidates who possess the relevant eligibility criteria have already applied for the same and are now awaiting the release of the SBI Clerk Admit Card. SBI Clerk 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are aspiring for the SBI Clerk 2021 are required to fulfil the basic SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria to successfully apply for the same. The candidates who fail to fulfil basic eligibility criteria will be rejected by the bank and not be able to attempt the preliminary examination.

SBI Clerk Eligibility 2021: Age Limit

According to the official notification of the SBI Clerk, the candidates who wish to apply for the exam have to be Graduate in any subject or stream. In addition to this, the aspirants should also have the operations of the basic computer knowledge.

SBI Clerk Eligibility 2021: Educational Qualification

The candidates need to possess the following educational qualification to be successfully able to apply for the SBI Junior Associates Exam:

SBI Clerk Application Process

The candidates should always visit the official website of SBIand move to the career section to apply for the SBI Clerk 2021. The important steps that are important while filling the application form are mentioned below:

  • The candidates must visit the official website of SBI
  • Next, the candidates are required to find the Career link on the official homepage of the SBI
  • Then, the candidates will be redirected to the career page, wherein the candidates have to check out the SBI Clerk Application link.
  • Post this, the candidates should fill in all the details i.e. Name, Mobile Number and Email id. Upon successful registration, a provisional registration number and password will be generated for the candidate.
  • Thereafter, the candidate will be required to log in with the Registration Number and Password and he will be redirected to the online application form.
  • The candidate has to enter all the important details i.e. Candidate’s name, Parent’s name, Caste category, Date of birth, educational qualification etc.
  • On the next page, the candidates will be required to upload their documents i.e. candidate’s photograph, candidate’s signature etc.
  • In the end, the candidates have to make the online payment using any of the online mode i.e. i.e. debit card/credit card etc.

SBI Clerk Selection Process 2021

SBI Clerk Prelim Exam 2021:

The Preliminary Exam of the SBI Clerk is the first stage of the recruitment process. The examination is conducted online and has three papers. The questions asked in the exam are multiple choice based or objective. The candidates is required to mark correct answer out of all the options available for each question. The candidates can check out the details of the preliminary exam of SBI Clerk 2021 in the space below:

  • SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination is conducted online in the computer-based mode.
  • The SBI Clerk Exam will have three papers i.e. Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability and English Language. The total questions asked from the three subjects will be equal to 100 while there will be 30 questions from English and 35 questions each from Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.
  • The bank has introduced sectional timing and therefore he will get 20 minutes to complete each section. The candidate cannot switch to another section until the sectional timing of one section is over.
  • As per the marking scheme, the candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer while there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answer.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2021:

  • The SBI Clerk Mains will be held for the candidates who are able to secure the minimum cut off of the SBI Clerk Preliminary.
  • Similarly, to the Preliminary exam SBI Clerk Mains exam is also conducted online and has multiple choice-based questions.
  • Unlike prelims there will be four sections in the Mains exam of SBI Clerk i.e. English Language, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, General / Finance Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • The sectional timing for each section will be different for each section.
  • The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer apart from the Reasoning Ability section and there will be a wrong marking of 0.25 marks.

As per the latest updates, the salary structure of the SBI Clerk has been revised and now the basic pay of 17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550- 1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. This implies that now the gross salary of an SBI Clerk will be around Rs 30,000 per month. Apart from the normal stipend that they will get an SBI Clerk is also offered the following allowances:
