Important points to Remember :
- The question in CBT will be objective type multiple choice.
- The questions will be either in Hindi or English language.
- Each question carries 1 marks.
- There is negative marking applicable in CBT. One wrong answer is equal to a 0.25 marks deduction.
- The Commission normalize the scores if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.
- The final merit list is determined by the normalized score as obtained by the entrants.
Skill Test Exam of SSC Stenographer Exam 2021:
The entrants who have qualified in CBT will further move to the Skill Test phase. The qualifying entrants in the Skill Test will be further recommended for employment. The Hindi stenographers will have to learn English stenography, likewise English stenographers will have to learn Hindi stenography if they are selected. This process will be done during their probation period. If the entrant fails to learn to master the other language stenography they will not be able to clear their probation.

Eligibility is a very important factor to be checked before applying for any exam. The eligibility of Stenographer’s exam is also divided into four factors:

- The minimum education needed for Stenographer’s post is higher secondary or 12th standard or equivalent from any recognized board or university.
