The UP Police SI exam is conducted in four phases. The very first is the Online written test and after that, there will be Document verification & physical standards test, Medical Test and Physical Efficiency Test.
The first phase the Online written test is the only written exam. There would be four papers in the online exam. The exam will carry a total of 400 marks and the questions will be objective type. There would be no negative marking in this exam. There will be 2.5 marks awarded for each right answer. UP Police SI Clerk Marking Scheme:
- For each right answer, entrants will be awarded 2.5 marks.
- For wrong answers, there will no negative marking.
- Questions will be bilingual for all the papers except the Hindi paper. The questions for the Hindi paper will be in the Hindi language only.
- Exam mode will be online only.
- Qualifying marks for each paper is 35%.
- Qualifying marks for this phase of the exam will be 50% in total.

- Check for name, roll number, category and result status.
- Once you are done download the PDF file for reference of your result.

Selection Of candidates in Case Of UP Police SI Cut-Off Marks Tie:
- If the marks acquired by the two candidates is the exact same the preference will be given to their educational qualification. If one of them have preferred educational qualification than the other one. The candidate having preferred educational qualifications will be selected.
- If they both have the same score and educational qualification their higher age limit is given a preference. The candidate having higher age will be given preference.
- If the higher age limit also matches the preference will be given to the alphabetical order of their name. The candidate whose name comes first in alphabetical order will be chosen.
After the result, the result is declared for the UP Police SI online exam qualified entrants will be appearing in Document Verification and Physical Standard round. All documents required must be produced and verified in this round. If the DV round is cleared entrants will go for a physical standard test where the measurements of the body will be checked. Thereafter they will appear in the medical test and physical efficiency test. Entrants will be tested on their physical ability like running lifting etc. If the entrants clear they will have to wait for the final merit list. If they are shortlisted they will be sent for training.
