In the exam highlights, we have already indicated that the CAPF exam is conducted in three phases. The 1st phase of CAPF exam will be the written exam which would have two papers. The 2nd round of exam would be the Physical test and the third round of the exam will be an interview round. Physical test of the entrants is conducted to test their physical strength and credibility to perform their duties as an officer in security forces. There are specific tests that are performed to find out the Physical ability of an entrant. Let’s have a look:

Entrants who would be further shortlisted after the physical test will go for interview round or personality test round. The interview round being the last round entrants would be asked about their preferred security force they want to join. However, before that, there will be a round of questioners to test the mental strength and personality of the entrant. Let have a look at some of the questions asked in the interview round:
The interview round will be the last round of the CAPF exam. This round is solely designed to understand the personality and mental stability of the entrants. Their quick decision-making ability will also be tested in this round. This test will carry 150 marks. On successful completion of this test, entrants would express their preference of the security forces they want to join. These are some of the sample questions that are asked during the interview round of CAPF. If the entrant gets selected in the interview round, they get to choose their preferred security force and then wait for the final merit list. The final merit list is the combined score of written test, physical test and interview. This final merit list will determine if the entrant will be selected or now.
