Cs shows maximum photoelectric effect, why?

The photoelectric effect is maximum in Cs as it has the lowest first ionization energy among alkali metals. On moving down the group of alkali metals, the ionization energy decreases and the removal of the electron becomes easy. Hence Cs has the maximum photoelectric effect
