Solution:
Density of water \(=1 \mathrm{~g} / \mathrm{cm}^{3}\) and its molecular weight \(=18\)
Therefore \(1000 \mathrm{~cm}^{3}\) of water will weigh \(1000 \mathrm{~g}\) of water. We also know that molarity
\(=\frac{\text { Mass of water }}{\text { Molecular weight }}\)
\(=\frac{1000}{18}\)
\(=55.56 M\)
