
Indian Air Force has invited applications from Indian nationals to be a part of the Indian Air Force Commissioned Officers in flying and ground duty. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the website https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in or https://afcat.cdac.in.
These applications are invited for the courses commencing in January 2023 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-technical) Branches. Afcat has released a total of 317 vacancies to recruit candidates in the various ground and flying duties. Candidates can check the number of vacancies for each branch from the tables below:-

The candidate must have cleared the class 12th exam with mathematics and physics as subjects. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in both subjects. In addition to this, the candidate must have graduated with BE or B.Tech degree from any recognized university with at least 60% marks.

The candidates applying for the flying Branch must be between 20 to 24 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates holding valid and current commercial pilot license up to 26 years.
The candidates applying for the ground duty must be between 20 to 26 years of age.
