UPSC Vacancy 2021: Check UPSC Assistant Commandant, AE, & Other Vacancy Details & Eligiblity Criteria

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications to recruit candidates for different posts. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the website https://www.upsconline.nic.in.

The candidates of the General, EWS and OBC categories are required to pay Rs.25 as an application fee. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PwD categories are exempted from the payment of the application fee. UPSC Vacancy 2022:

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a recruitment notification to appoint 140 candidates for different posts.  Interested candidates can check the table to know the details of the Vacancy.

 

 

UPSC Vacancy Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates interested in applying for the UPSC vacancy 2022 recruitment must check read the eligibility criteria before applying for the post.

Age Limit:

The age limit criteria for the candidates are mentioned in the table below:-

Citizenship:

A candidate must be either:

• a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification:

The minimum educational qualification required for each post are as follows:-

• Assistant Commissioner (Crops) – Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Extension or Agronomy or Entomology or Nematology or Genetics and Plant Breeding or Agriculture Botany or Plant Biotechnology or Plant Pathology or Plant Physiology or Seed Science and Technology or Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
• Assistant Engineer (Armament- Ammunition) – Master’s Degree in Science in Physics or Chemistry(Inorganic), Chemistry (Organic) from a recognized University or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized University or undertaking.
• Assistant Engineer (Electronics) – Master’s Degree in one of the subjects viz. Physics, Electronics, Physics with Electronics from a recognized University or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the disciplines viz. Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Electrical , Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation.
• Assistant Engineer (Gentex) – Master’s Degree in Science in one of the subjects viz Physics, Chemistry (Inorganic), Chemistry (Organic) from a recognized University OR Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the disciplines viz. Mechanical, Metallurgy, Textile & Clothing, or Garment Designing or Textile Processing or Metallurgy or Plastic or Polymer or Ceramics or Production Engineering from a recognized University or undertaking.
• Junior Time Scale Grade of Central Labour Service – Degree of a recognized University, ii) Diploma in Social Work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or Labour Law from a recognized University or Institution.
• Administrative Officer (Geological Survey of India) – Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University
• Assistant Professor (Ayurveda, Rachna Sharir) – i) Degree in Ayurveda Medicine from a  University established by law or statutory board/ faculty examining body of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970. ii) A post Graduate Degree in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.
• Assistant Professor (Ayurveda, Maulik Siddhanta evum Samhita) – i) Degree in Ayurveda Medicine from a University established by Law or statutory board/faculty/examining body of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970. ii) A post Graduate Degree in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.
