
As the Nationalized banks came into the picture in India in the year 1969. A small body called PSS was formed to recruiting in the selection testing method. The job of this body was to find out proficient candidates for various bank jobs. Later PSS was named IBPS in 1984. Hence IBPS or (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is an autonomous body that conducts various banking exams for public sector banks. The exams IBPS conducts are namely, PO/ MT, SO, Clerk, Officer Scale-I, RRB Office Assistant, Officer Scale-II and Scale-III. The name IBPS SO Exam suggests the exam for IBPS Specialist Officer.
IBPS SO Exam is conducted every year. The IBPS SO Exam Pattern is designed to shortlist the best candidates for the Specialist Officer post. It is conducted in three stages. The prelim exam is the same for all entrants. Only paper 3 is different and post specifically. After the prelim exam shortlisted entrants will be appearing in the main exam. if the entrant gets shortlisted in the main exam they will receive an interview call letter. The entrant will then go for the interview and the final selection will be done in the interview round. The final round is the interview round hence all the documents of the entrant are going to be check and verified in the interview round. Entrants must not forget to bring the IBPS SO Documents as mentioned in the list. If the entrant forgets to bring any of the documents they will be rejected.
