India Coast Guard has invited applicants for the recruitment of posts of Navik GD, Navik Domestic Branch and Yantrik Recruitment for the year 2021. Around 350 vacancies are released by the recruitment body.
The starting date of the online application will be 02/07/2021. The last date for final submission is 16/07/2021.
The Application fee is 250/- for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and SC/ST candidates are exempted to pay the fees.

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment – Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should possess the required qualification to apply for different posts. The minimum education qualification required is stated below:
- For Navik General Duty, the candidates should possess the 10+2 Maths and Physics from any education boards
- For Navik Domestic Branch, the candidates should have passed 10th class from any education boards
- For Yantrik, candidates should have passed 10th class from an education board and diploma in electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering of 3 or 4 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education
Steps to follow while applying for the recruitment:
- Go through the notification Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021 thoroughly.
- Click on the official website of the Indian Coast Guard.
- Register yourself by applying on the application portal.
- Fill in the basic details as asked in the form.
- Application ID and password will be generated for future use.
- Login with the details and fill in the personal details and other required fields.
- Upload the photo and signature as per the dimensions asked.
- Upload the documents asked
- Pay the application fee and submit it after verifying all the details.
The age limit to apply for these posts should between 18 to 22 years. The candidates should not be born before January 31,2004 for Navik GD and Yantrik and before January 31, 2003 for Navik DB. The age relaxation is also provided according to the different categories.
Indian Coast Guard Recruitment – Selection Process:
The selection process for the ICG posts are 4 stages. Clearing every stage is necessary for the final selection.
- Stage 1 – Written exam (No negative marking is done)
- Stage 2- Physical Fitness test, Initial Medical Examination
- Stage 3- Document verification, Final medical examination
- Stage 4 – Shortlisting Candidates based on the availability

- Navik (General Duty)- It lies in the pay level 3 and the basic pay is 21,700/- and the other allowances will depend upon the city you are posted to.
- Navik (Domestic Branch)- It lies in the pay level 3 and the basic pay is 21,700/- and the other allowances will depend upon the city you are posted to.
- Yantrik – It lies in the pay level 5 an the basic pay is 29,200/- with addition to yantrik pay Rs.6200 and the other allowances will depend upon the city you are posted to.
