
The UPSC CAPF exam is targeted to hire for various departments of BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, Assam Rifle, NSG, SSB & BSF. The exam is conducted in three phases to test the credibility of applying entrants. The first phase contains written exams while phase two is mainly based on Physical Standard and Medical tests. Physical test of the entrants is conducted to test their physical strength and credibility to perform their duties as an officer in security forces. There are specific tests that are performed to find out the Physical ability of an entrant. Let’s have a look:

Entrants who would be further shortlisted after the physical test will go for an interview round or personality test round. The interview round being the last round entrants would be asked about their preferred security force they want to join. However, before that, there will be a round of questioners to test the mental strength and personality of the entrant. UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process:
After completion of all the stages, selected candidates will be going for training. On complication of training, they will be sent to their positions. It’s very important that entrants must check for the physical standards required for the UPSC CAPF exam and then only they may apply for it. It wouldn’t matter if the entrants have passed the written exam if the entrants can not meet the physical standards.
Entrants must be between 20t25 years to apply for the exam. However, ST/SC candidates get age relaxation to appear for the exam.
The minimum weight criteria for woman candidates of UPSC CAPF is 46Kgs.
The minimum height criteria for male candidates of UPSC CAPF is 165cm.
The date for Physical Standard Test had not been declared by UPSC yet.
