After the candidates have successfully registered, they need to pay the examination fee. They can make the payment online. After payment, the applicants must log in to the AFCATs portal to check the status of the registration process. Candidates registering for the AFCAT 2 2021 will have to pay the application fee of Rs 250 to successfully complete the application process.

The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years or above to be eligible to apply for any post. There will no upper age limit relaxation for the candidates belonging to any category. Check the AFCAT Age limit for flying and technical branch mentioned in the AFCAT 2 Notification.
The age limit of the candidates should be between 20- 24 years as on 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for the aspirants having valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive) as per AFCAT 2 Notification.
The age limit of the candidates should be between 20 to 26 years as of 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive) as per AFCAT 2 Notification
The candidates whose age is below 25 years should be unmarried at the time of commencement of course. Widows/ Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible to apply for the examas per AFCAT 2 Notification .
The AFCAT Educational Qualification is different for different posts. Candidates should carefully go through the educational qualification specified in the AFACT Notification mentioned below.
Candidates should have passed with at least 50% marks or above each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
(a) Graduation with a minimum three years degree course in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
(b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with at least of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
(c) Passed Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with at least 60% marks or equivalent.
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics): Candidates who have passes with at least 50% mark each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a possess four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognized University
OR
Cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with at least 60% marks or equivalent in the following disciplines:-
