The Chattisgarh Public Service Commission has invited applications for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers in 2021. The CGPSC Online Application for Assistant Engineers starts from August 17th 2021 onward. The Online application form CGPSC can be done through the official website of CGPSC. The CGPSC is responsible for conducting Civil Service exams to recruit people in various job profiles every year. The last date of completing the online application is 15th September 2021. According to the official CGPSC Recruitment AE Notification, there will be 83 vacancies in 2021. Let’s have a look at the next important factor of the CGPSC AE recruitment exam, which is the eligibility criteria of the exam. All the entrants must compare the requirement asked for and their own qualifications to find out if they are eligible for the application to the job. If they are they can start the application process from 17th august and complete it max by 15th September 2021. As we already know the job vacancy is for Assistant Engineers hence engineering degree is important for the entrants. Let’s have look at the details.

CGPSC AE Recruitment Eligibility 2021:

The eligibility criteria of the CGPSC AE recruitment need to be check and followed by entrants thoroughly. The CGPSC AE Eligibility is what will give the entrants an idea if they can apply for the exam. The criteria depend on three aspects; Nationality, Age Limit and Educational Qualification. Entrants have to meet each of the requirements to be able to apply for the CGPSC AE Exam.  Let have a look at the details of each criterion:

Nationality:

• The entrant must be a citizen of India.
• A refugee from Tibet.
• A person of Indian origin, arrived from East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Burma, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, and Pakistan, to settle down in India forever.
• A person who is given the certificate of citizenship of India by the Government of India.

Age Limit:

• The minimum age of the general entrant who wants to apply for CGPSC AE is 20 years.
• The maximum age for the general entrants would be 40 years.
• There will be reservations for the reserved category candidates.
  • For the OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates, there will be an age relaxation of 3years.
  • For SC/ST candidates (domicile of Chattisgarh Only) there will an age relaxation of 5years max.

Educational Qualification:

• Entrants who want to must have Engineering Degree with 50% marks.
• Entrants must be B.E/ BTech in Electrical or Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• Or must be an Associate Member of Institution Engineers.

CGPSC AE Exam Pattern 2021:

There will be two rounds of tests in the CGPSC AE Exam. The will be two papers in the written exam; General Studies and Professional Knowledge.

• There will be 150 questions per paper.
• Each round of exams will be conducted out of 300marks.
• The time allotted to the entrants to finish each paper will be 2 hours & 30mins.
• The General studies paper will have questions related to Chattisgarh GK.
• The 2dn paper will have questions related to Engineering.
• There will be a qualifying mark for the exam.
  • Thy qualifying marks for general candidates will be 40.
  • For OBC it will be 30.
  • For SC/ST it will be 30 as well.

The entrants can follow the syllabus and prepare for the exam accordingly. However, the entrants need to complete the online application for CGPSC AE correctly. If the Application form is not filled correctly there application may get canceled altogether. There is no option to make changes in the application form once it is submitted. • To apply for the CGPSC AE Exam then entrants must visit the official website of CGPSC.
• The online application notification can be found on the announcement tab.
• Find the CGPSC SES  Or CGPSC State Engineering Service Online Announcement and click on it.
• The online application form will open up. Fill the form with utmost care.
• Re-read the information you have provided while filling the form again before submitting it.
• Upload the document that is required.
• Provide your contact details.
• Now submit the form and you will get the option to make payment for the application fee.
• If you want to make an online payment you can pay then and there.
• If you want to pay offline you can as raise a challan and complete it.

The online payment mode is convenient as you can make payment by any card, BHIM, UPI, Mobile wallet etc. However, if you pay offline you have to generate the challan and go to a nearby SBI bank to make the payment. After the payment is completed you have logged into the CGPSC website again and check the application status if it has changed to complete. Now let have a look at the Application fee:

• For general candidates, the application fee is Rs 400.
• For SC/ST the application fee is Rs 300.
• For OBC as well the application fee is Rs 300.
