DSSSB PGT recruitment is a huge opportunity for students who are looking forward to their carrier in the teaching line. Every year DSSSB recruits many candidates for the various posts throughout the exams. This year DSSSB declared of total 710 vacancies for Post Graduate Teacher.
As per the latest official notification, the DSSSB PGT Salary Structure 2021 was revised by the 7th pay commission. According to the official notification, the TGT/PGT/PRT teacher’s salary pay scale is the same across Delhi. Like all Government employees, DSSSB PGT teachers are also got a certain allowance. Like travel allowances, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Dearness Allowance.
HRA is generally provided by DSSSB to meet the house rent of PGT teachers. The HRA is fixed at 24% of the employee’s basic pay.
The Dearness Allowance or DA is 9% of the basic pay. The total amount of 4,284 of the total salary.
DSSSB provided the TA or Transport Allowance the post for PGT teachers total amount of 3,600.

9% of TA is also provided by DSSSB for PGT teachers.

The salary amount of DSSSB PGT teachers is a tax payable amount. For this reason there some deductions have to be made by DSSSB. Approx Rs. 3000 is subtracted in the form of income tax from the salary. Also, PGT teachers are listed in the National Pension System or NPS, for this reason, Rs. 5,190 is deducted from the monthly salary for the pension scheme to serve the candidate in their older ages.
