In this section, the candidate’s ability to use the basics of English will be tested. This section involves the simple use of English. The candidate has to be good at the basic understanding of English. Paper I tests the candidate’s ability to use English as an effective communication tool.
The questions in this section are of two types. They can be verbal-based or non-verbal-based. The SSC CPO Exam tests the candidate’s ability to deal with tricky situations. In this section, the candidate should be able to solve and deal with abstract ideas.
This section tests the candidate’s numerical sense. Here the candidate has to be good with numbers. This section has numerical-based questions.
The candidate has to be well aware of the events happening around the world. The topics covered in this section is vast. The candidates must be well updated on the current and past happenings worldwide.

Candidates who have cleared both the papers will be allowed for the PST and PET. These two stages are based on physical attributes. Apart from academics, candidates must be physically fit. The SSC CPO Exam 2021 has its own set of rules for these two tests.
