Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department is going to release the notification for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) today. Candidates can check their eligibility on the official website i.e updeled.gov.in. once the notification is released. Earlier the UPTET notification was scheduled in the month of May and the exam was going to be conducted in July but due to the covid pandemic situation, it was postponed till further notice. UPTET exam is conducted for the post of primary and upper primary teaching posts.

The application form will start on 07 October 2021 and the last date to apply for the various posts is 25 October 2021. The Application fee is 600/- for UR/OBC candidates and for SC/ST candidates is 400/-. Candidates can pay the fees through online mode. The UPTET 2021 will be held on November 28.
The age limit from 18 to 35 years is eligible to apply for the application process. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to certain category students.
Candidates with a graduation degree and relevant teaching training diploma are eligible to apply for the post.
