A series LCR circuit is connected to an ac voltage source. When \(L\) is removed from the circuit, the phase difference between and voltage is \(\frac{\pi}{3}\). If instead \(C\) is removed form the circuit, the phase diffrence is again \(\frac{\pi}{3}\) between current and voltage. The power factor of the circuit is:

A block of mass \(m_{2}\) is placed on a horizontal table and another block of mass \(m_{1}\) is placed on top of it. An increasing horizontal force \(F=\alpha t\) is exerted on the upper block but the lower block never moves as a result. If the co-efficient of friction between the blocks is \(\mu_{1}\) and that between the lower block and the table is \(\mu_{2}\), then what is the maximum possible value of \(\mu_{1} / \mu_{2}\) ?

A pair of parallel metal plates are kept with a separation ' \(\mathrm{d}\) '. One plate is at a potential \(+\mathrm{V}\) and the other is at ground potential. A narrow beam of electrons enters the space between the plates with a velocity \(v_{0}\) and in a direction parallel to the plates. What will be the angle of the beam with the plates after it travels an axial distance L?
