As you know, the IBPS conducts the IBPS exams. So, the IBPS decides the eligibility criteria, cut off marks, and the eligible candidates. Both the IBPS Clerk exams are online-based. The questions are the objective type which means that there will be options given for all the questions. Each question will have 5 options. Each section has a specified time given within which the entrant has to complete answering the questions correctly as the wrong answer will attract negative marks. The IBPS Clerk exam basically tests the entrant’s Aptitude, Problem Solving Skills, Analytical Skills and Language proficiency of the entrants. The entrants will have to score both the overall and sectional IBPS Clerk cut off marks for both the exams to achieve their aim. The IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern consists of 3 sections: English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability with a total time duration of 1 hour which is 60 minutes. In total there are 100 multiple choice questions which the aspirant has to answer correctly as each wrong answer will earn them a penalty of 0.25 marks.

IBPS conducts the last stage of the IBPS Clerk Recruitment Process through the IBPS Clerk Main Exam. The applicants getting selected are the ones getting the jobs. IBPS Clerk Main Exam has 4 sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude with different weightage and duration as given in the following table. As mentioned above the wrong answer in both the exams will deduct 0.25 marks from the total marks received by the examinee. The IBPS Clerk Prelim exam total marks are 100 and the main exam consists of 200 marks with 190 questions. Every question carries 1 mark. Candidates will have to clear the IBPS Clerk Cut Off marks for prelims to appear in the IBPS Clerk Main Exam and to achieve the aim of being an IBPS Clerk, he/ she will also have to clear the IBPS Clerk cut off for the mains. There is some rules that the aspirants need to consider and follow to reach their aim: IBPS CLERK position which are as follows:
The entrants must carry their IBPS CLERK Admit Card to their allocated exam hall with an original photo id proof and its photocopy. The candidate must reach the exam hall 1 hour before the stipulated time. candidates are denied entry after the commencement of the exam. After the invigilator has checked the aspirant’s IBPS CLERK Admit Card, he has to sign the attendance sheet in front of the invigilator and also mention the hall ticket number. He must follow all the instructions given during the exam. Candidates must not involve in any kind of chaos during the exam as it may lead to a loss of time for giving the exam, which may cost the candidate’s chance of becoming an IBPS CLERK. There should be no kind of discussion regarding anything during the exam with other fellow mates. He should not disturb and give the exam silently without making any noise. They are not permitted to carry any type of electronic device or study matter like mobile phones, earphones, Bluetooth, paper, watch, books, copies, etc. The decision taken by the IBPS shall be final.
