
Staff Selection Commission has announced the dates for SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2019. The exam was supposed to be conducted in 2019. However, due to the outbreak of Covid 19 in December 2019, the exam was postponed. We have witnessed the longest lockdown period in 2020. Now that major vaccination has happened in India, the Staff Selection Commission finally scheduled the exam to be conducted from October 21st till October 22nd, 2021. The SSC Stenographer CBT exam has already been conducted in 2020. Entrants who have qualified for the Skill Test round will now appear in the Skill test round of the SSC Stenographer exam 2019. We are already aware that the Skill Test round is the most important part of the SSC Stenographer exam. The candidates who have qualified in CBT will further move to the Skill Test phase. The qualifying entrants in the Skill Test will be further recommended for employment. The Hindi stenographers will have to learn English stenography, likewise English stenographers will have to learn Hindi stenography if they are selected. This process will be done during their probation period. If the entrant fails to learn to master the other language stenography they will not be able to clear their probation.

After the Skill Test exam, the entrants will be hired and but they will also be on probation to check their working skills. It is suggested to the entrants that they must learn shorthand for taking dictation. This will help the entrants to take the dictation at a good speed and type accurately. Entrants can also practice typing both Hindi and English typing to crack the exam. This is the last phase of the SSC Stenographer exam, hence entrants should take extra care to crack the Skill test exam. The Admit Card for the SSC Stenographer exam will be released online. Entrants can find the admit card notification and download link on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission. SSC Stenographer 2019’s admit card release date has not been declared yet. Tentatively the admit card for Stenographer 2 weeks before the Skill Test Exam. Note: Entrants do not have to carry all the ID cards to the exam hall. Just one ID card is enough to verify their identity as legit participants. However, the list suggests if any of the above-mentioned IDs are not present then the other can be used as a substitute.

The SSC Stenographer Skill Test Exam will be conducted from 21st to 22nd October 2021.
The Admit card released date for SSC Stenographer has not been declared yet. However, it is estimated that the admit card will be released two weeks prior to the exam.

Typing skill in both Hindi and English is not mandatory to be able to qualify in the Skill Test however if the entrant gets qualified there will be a brief probation period for the stenographers. Qualified entrants will need to learn typing in both the language within that period of time. Knowing typing in both languages is mandatory for the job profile.
