UPSC ESE Notification 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria play an important role in any recruitment process. Candidates can check the educational qualification and age limit mentioned below before applying for the UPSC ESE Notification Recruitment post.
Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India.
Age Limits
The age of the candidates should be between 21 years to 30 years on the 1st January 2022.
Minimum Educational Qualification
- Degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
- Cleared Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India)
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognized by the Government for the purpose from time to time
- Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India)
- Qualified Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India
- Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London
UPSC ESE Notification 2022: How to Apply Online?

- Step 1: Visit the official website i.e www.upsconline.nic.in.
- Step 2: Click on the ‘Careers ’ on the home page of the website

UPSC ESE Notification 2022: Admit Card
The UPSC ESE Admit Card will be released on the official website a few weeks before the commencement of the exam as per the UPSC ESE Notification 2021. The candidates should download their admit card for the Prelims, Mains exam & Interview by entering their registration number and password/date of birth in the login portal.
The candidates must bring one photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof. No Hard Copy of the Hall Ticket will be sent by post to the candidates.
